I definitely agree with all the other 5 star reviews about Harold and his crew! This man is a true professional. Harold does an excellent job from start to finish, doing most of the prep work by himself. He goes above and beyond and he is not satisfied with your project until you are. I contacted Harold last September (2025) to give me a quote on paving my driveway and replacing my stairs. His quote was very reasonable and we scheduled my job for this summer (2026). This was due to other jobs he had already scheduled and the advancing winter season. Some people may not understand that Harold cannot do his concrete work once the temperature falls below 40 degrees, so as not to impair the concrete's integrity. Harold was apologetic about the scheduling, but promised that I would have my new driveway and stairs before next winter. Harold is as good as his word -- my driveway and stairs were started and completed 2 days ago! The completed work (and clean up) surpassed my expectations and I couldn't be happier! Harold is much more than a professional completing a job. He is one of the finest people I have ever met. His work ethic is beyond compare. He is also kind and considerate, calling or texting me every month or so, to let me know that he didn't forget about me and that my job would be done this summer. Who does that any more? He's always been available to answer my many questions, too. I highly recommend Harold for any concrete work that you may need. Harold, thank you so much for all your hard work! You are amazing! TLDR: If you want to avoid the "typical" concrete company and want quality work and communication, hire Harold. I recently built a pole barn and started an addition on my house. Harold was one of three contractors I had bid the work. Of the three, Harold responded within an hour or two of me leaving a voicemail and came out the same day to bid the job. The other two contractors took several days to return my call and one contractor didn't even show up at the scheduled time to bid the work. Harold came in at a very reasonable price so I awarded him the job. He was excellent at communicating a start date and a rough timeline of how the job would progress. I was never in question about when the job was getting done or where we were at in the process. He was super friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. We made several adjustments to the quote and he was always ready with an updated quote within 24 hours of our conversation. All of this already impressed me about a concrete guy. Now we talk about the quality of work. I'm in the construction field and have been around a lot of concrete work. The quality of work that Harold and his team put out is some of the best I've ever seen. A lot of companies love to cut small corners to save time and money, whether it is skimping on prep, not detailing the corners, etc. These guys knocked it out of the park in every aspect. I can honestly say they made the company that poured the slab for my house look like hacks. On top of everything, the guys is always smiling. Being in the trades I'm used to all the grouchy guys that are just trying to make a paycheck. You can tell Harold genuinely loves what he's doing and that's why you get the quality of work and craftsmanship he puts out. He even cleaned up the site after the work was complete instead of leaving the disaster a typical company does. I have always hated getting concrete work done because there are so many companies out there that are a complete craps shoot. They aren't easy to deal with, they rarely call you back in a timely manner and you are stuck with whatever quality they decide to give you that day. Dealing with Harold was a completely different experience. I will be recommending Harold to anyone I know looking to get concrete work done. He's that good.

What a fantastic person and company to work with! Harold is so respectful, kind, responsive, punctual, and the concrete work he does is TOP NOTCH!!!! Harold poured a 30’x60’ pole barn floor with 42x12 footing all the way around. Everything passed inspection with 0 ZERO ISSUES!!! We will have a car lift installed later so he added additional thickness to support heavy vehicles on the lift (per the lift company’s recommendation). He is the BEST to work with!!! We will be call him for other projects for sure!!!!

Harold was a very good person to work with, he listened and understood what I was trying to achieve and he did an amazing job, I live in Fowlerville and he never stopped until everything was just right. I remember him here one night until 9pm what dedication to the customer!! Harold was absolutely amazing to work with. His communication before and during the project was like nothing I’ve experienced before. He worked meticulously to ensure everything was how we wanted and expected it. He’s very hard working, fair priced and honest and I highly recommend him.

Harold and his crew went above and beyond with pouring a concrete slab in an industrial facility on short notice. Very responsive, fair pricing, and quality work. Definitely recommend!

If you need concrete work done, look no further than Harold! He was very flexible, as I had multiple contractors in doing other projects outside. What differentiates Harold is his attention to detail. My driveway project was difficult, as the ground was pitched toward the house and the existing drive was nearly level with the garage floor. Harold quickly realized the situation and told me how he would resolve it prior to giving me a quote. Other contractors missed this. I 'm so glad I went with Harold! The job came out much better than expected. Oh, and did I mention that his pricing was reasonable and fair! Thanks Harold!

Harold's concrete expertise helped make us the best decision in deciding if we wanted a stamped job or not. We went with a stamped back yard patio and it came out marvelous. We worked out an agreement to come seal coat it twice a year!

Harold did a fantastic job demolishing and replacing part of our sidewalk that was deteriorating at our place of business. He was great to work with and communicate with. Would recommend him for any concrete work!
